I went to
Pembrokeshire…
…years ago but as
part of an Ecology field trip so it was more work than pleasure. Having said
that, going on a ‘Rocky Shores’ field trip just a few weeks after the Sea Empress disaster in Milford Haven never really allowed me to see the
coastline at its best! Never really got time to explore much back then and
always wanted to go back.
Last minute
cut-price bargain from a company called ‘Under The Thatch’. Old fashioned
miners tin shack in the middle of nowhere, complete with woodburners. And the
doggies were even allowed to stay!! Had
to do it!
Wonderful few days with Sue, breathtaking coastal walks, getting sent round and round in circles by the car sat nav, evenings spent huddled around the woodburner, the odd glass of plonk, bit of sightseeing and some lovely Welsh hospitality.
Spot on.
